“Why are you so cranky? Are you PMSing?” “She’s so angry. Looks like it’s that time of the month!” “You’re crying for no reason. Is it because you’re chumming?” JUST STOP WITH ALL THESE QUESTIONS!
If you’re a girl you’ve probably heard these questions once or twice. Well, who am I kidding? Possibly, a hundred thousand times! From every guy friend you’ve ever had! Even if you’re angry at them because of something they did, they’ll ask you that stupid question. Like really? How difficult is it for you to understand and accept your mistake instead of blaming PMS. Okay so maybe they don’t get what PMS is. In that case, let me enlighten all men on behalf of women-kind.
A week before the bleeding, hormone levels go absolutely nuts.
PMS stands for Premenstrual Syndrome. In laymen’s text, the period before the actual period (sorry, not sorry)! It’s that time of the month before that time of the month (again, sorry…). A week before the bleeding, hormone levels go absolutely nuts. Chemicals in the body act exactly how the world did when a specific person became the president of a certain nation *cough Trump cough* – absolutely insane! That is why, the woman feels irritated, has major mood swings, feels bloated; basically, downright pathetic. Anybody would if they knew that in a few days from now they were going to bleed for 7 days straight!
Men have come and men have gone and they have all blamed our period for their behaviour.
In a nutshell, PMS sucks and it makes us girls go crazy. But that’s once a month. The other three weeks we’re absolutely human! So, if you were supposed to meet us at 5 but you turn up at 6 and then when we get angry and you say “Why are you overreacting? Are you on your period?” get ready for us to break your face!
Men have come and men have gone and they have all blamed our period for their behaviour. You catch your man flirting with another girl – “Can you chill? We were just talking. Why are you PMSing?” If you catch a guy doing something stupid – “Are you chumming?” They can’t help but pop the question.
So, in closing I’d like to advice guys to not ask us that question when we’re not PMSing. Actually, don’t even ask us that when we are PMSing!
Every Girl Ever!
