You’re making my mouth water even as I write this letter.
I know I’ve taken too long to write this and I know I’ve taken you for granted at times. So, I’m writing this to apologize for my behavior and tell you just how much I love you.
You have been my constant, undying love. You were there to celebrate the first ever steps that I had taken. You were my prize as I completed a difficult math problem. You were the life of every birthday. You were there to celebrate farewells and reunions. You were my comforting shoulder in times of heartbreak. You were and still are the best thing that has happened to me!
I can dip little mounds of you into a melted version of you.
They say love is about physical appearance but I don’t think that’s true. I love you in every shape, every form and every color! I love everything about you.
I love how you shine. I love how you can mould yourself into slabs, soft sponges, mousse and ice-cream. Actually everything! You’ve made pathetic-tasting milk, delicious. As if that wasn’t enough, I can dip little mounds of you into a melted version of you. Could you get any better? I think about you in ways that I shouldn’t. Dirty ways. Delicious ways! Sometimes I just imagine you melting in my mouth. Slowly! I guess I’m just romantic like that.
You are my one true, undying love!
You know what I love most about you? The way you leisurely melt on my fingers and drip ever so slowly. From my fingers onto my palm! Then when I lick you off, your taste on my tongue, the way soften and dissolve, leaving a lasting flavor that will keep reminding me of your presence in my life.
You’ve never judged me. You’ve quietly listened while I spoke and cribbed. You were there for me during those days when I threw tantrums. You are my one true, undying love!
So here, I’ve told you and the world how much I love you and that life without you would be utterly tasteless and boring.
