He stood there. Thinking about the good times and the bad!
He – “She wasn’t your normal girl. She was a package of surprises and the different. You couldn’t tame her, ever! Giving in to the norms of society was like an insult to her and her weird principles of life. The things that were crazy and way too bold for others were making me fall for her.
She was always on a different kind of high. She loved what most didn’t. She noticed what almost no one could. She wouldn’t look at the beautiful birds or flowers in the park. She would admire the grass and how it is so little and yet no one can harm it.
She loved shopping like most girls. She would spend hours in the mall and buy almost everything that she would set eyes on. And then she would leave the house at midnight and give all of it to the kids on the side of the road. She thought I didn’t know, but I was always around the corner with a proud smile on my face.
She was a bundle of joy and happiness. So much for making the world a brighter place, I don’t think she deserved this. After all, she was the love of my life.”
And he turned around and admired the huge picture of a beautiful girl, smiling like she doesn’t have a care in the world. He lit a candle on the dais. And hundreds of banners and boards went up in front of him. They all said different things but meant the same – ‘rape is the highest of crimes’, ‘Let us live’, ‘Girls are humans, too’.
